Introduction

Zhou600 E1 gateway is the operation grade trunk gateway especially for the operator, enterprise and virtual operator. Zhou600 E1 gateway is integrated the trunk gateway (TG) and signaling gateway (SG) together, and is generally called VoIP voice gateway (or termination gateway). Zhou600 E1 gateway locates on the interface of PSTN and IP network, providing signaling transform between ISDN PRI signaling and H.323, SIP signaling, as well as media transfer between the PSTN and IP network.

 Zhou600 E1 gateway supports E1 Digital Trunk at PSTN side with ISDN PRI signaling, covering the functions of call processing, control and maintenance. Zhou600 E1 gateway supports 32 E1 (MAX) and 960 simultaneous calls. Zhou600 E1 gateway supports 10/100M Ethernet interface in IP side and support the Gatekeeper in H.323, which is assorted with SIP server in SIP protocol to ensure program control exchanger works with IP phone network equipment coordinately and connection of PSTN/ISDN.  

 Zhou600 E1 gateway is adopted the multi-management according to the different authorization to ensured the data safety. Zhou500 E1 gateway support the signaling and media stream encryption in order to protect the user to SoftSwitch, IAD to trunk gateway, and IAD to SoftSwitch in prevent voip block situation. In NAT situation, Zhou500 E1 gateway support the RTP stream of IAD directory through the channel between the IAD and RTP, Consequently the load is reduced in the SoftSwitch.
